Liberals are in crisis, everyone i know no longer has there neat little talking point of the week. Why? Paul Krugman is critizing Obama. oh no! He even came on NPR to break the news. Krugman-who has always been a non partisan free thinking econmist who happens to be more to the left-said that obama had done 3 more idiotic and wasteful "paulson plans".

As i listened in t he car, i felt the sudden urge listening to krugmans common sence critqiue, to stand straight up threw the moonroof of the toyato and give Mr.Krugman a stand-O. And i felt the same way when david frum spoke the truth about Palin late last summer.

Whats the proper metaphor for this momentous occurence in liberaldome? caine and abel? yoko and the beatles? a smarter man could do the job.

A lot of democrats listening to krugman on npr must have been thinking "man, why ya' rain on the parade paul! if you don't have anything nice to say about barak then shut youor yapper! " and then the tears slowly slide down there checks.

Anyways, this krugman eruption has put liberals off gaurd. nothing to defend, nothing to attack (taking Rush out of context was so 3 weeks ago).

so what have they resorted to, "ya know, i watch obama's press conference and hes answering these questions and i think to myself 'god, bush couldnt even answer any of these', this guys just in another league." No matter if obama is boring, mendaious, deviously vague and evasive and supremely unitrested and uncapable of syaings omething you don't know or havent heard a thousand time sover, just think of your favriote BUshism and rejoice. And so no matter how badly obama does, or how obvious it is that he's wasting tons of money irresposncibilbly with a giant debt and lying about it everytime he goes on Tv to tell us he's not going to waste a damn and isnt going to use the crisis for unrelated projects, democrats can remain silent and happy, plugging there ears , closing there eyes, like children to drown out the news that obama's wrong and republicans right, shoutingover and over again "wow this guy's so much smarter than bush! wow this guys so much smarter than bush!".

They don't want to know what card check or the fairness doctrine is, when you tell them, they don't believe.

When you mention how much obama is increasing the debt and the billions he's spending on rebuilding palestine and tatto removal undre the guis eof stimulating the US econmy and not a dime on the shovel ready project of building a border fence-they just say "bush inherited a surplus and he put us in this huge dbet in the first place".


YOu tell dmeocrats about all the ridiclous things there party is doing and trying to do, what there making us pay for-illegals mortages-what they want to do-add 20 million illegals to the citizenry with the highest unem[lpyent rate in 20 years- or when you tell the that the last stimulus had no discernable impat on the econmy. They just say "well the republicans want to do nothing"

then you tell them infcat the republicans have madwe alternative proposals and they say "i havent seen that" and they dont wnat to see that like they dont wnat to and wont see what card check, or the fairness doctrine or amnesty is or would do or why the democrats want to pass them, cause then they would have to be outraged with the democrats and that simply isn't a option.

so liberals for the next 4 years will watch COUNTDOWN and Racehel maddow and re read their bushisms, and not read about that amnesty bill or what obama's doing to DC public schools or how absurdly he is wasting there money and how appalling the debt is, etc. and they get by just fine at there cock tail partys saying "my god, could you imagine if bush had tried to answer that question?"
